Services

We provide information, emotional support, and referrals for victims of crime and tragedy. You don't need to be a victim of crime to speak with us.

In fact, some clients who see us are just in need of emotional or community support due to:

  • Sudden death or suicide of a loved one
  • Community tragedy
  • Disasters (i.e house fire)
  • Motor vehicle accidents
  • Domestic violence or unhealthy relationships
  • Sexual abuse
  • Robbery/break and enter
  • Elder abuse
  • Family or personal mental health concerns


We also:

  • Provide emotional support
  • Provide Court Support
  • Advocate for victims and their rights
  • Provide general information about the criminal justice system and how it works
  • Keep victims updated with information on what is happening with their court file
  • Help prepare Victim Impact Statements and various other related court or government documentation in relation to your case.
  • Applying for Emergency Protection Orders or Homeless Assistance Fund
  • Referrals to specialized community resources
  • Creating safety plans
  • Helping to apply to the Victims of Crime Emergency Fund for victims of violent crime
  • Run diversions as part of the justice system
  • Give presentations to schools and the communities to reduce victimization
